Sydney grew up in a home where they spoke and sang about Jesus nearly every day. She and her family were very involved in church, where she developed a love for church music, local outreach, and missions. After graduating from Allen High School in 2015, Sydney attended Baylor University from the Fall of 2015 to the Fall of 2019, earning her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Entrepreneurship with a minor in Music as well as her Master of Accountancy. While in Waco, she continued to pursue her passions on campus, in the Church, and in the surrounding Waco community.

After graduating, Sydney began working at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Dallas, where she currently works as a Senior Associate in the Trust Solutions practice for their private client group. She has found a church home at Dallas Bible Church where she gets to pour out and be poured into by others in biblical community. Despite the fullness of her schedule, Sydney has an ever-growing appreciation for her need for rest and time to re-charge. When she is not working or serving at church, she is often spending time with family, traveling, visiting friends, going on long walks, playing piano, or reading.
